Nicole Madden is the WCCB’s Chief Meteorologist, providing the morning forecasts on News Rising on WCCB Charlotte’s CW. Recognizing her appreciation and affinity for science, she went back to school to pursue a Certificate in Broadcast Meteorology from Mississippi State University. This led her to working full-time in radio in Lewistown and State College upon graduating. While attending classes at John Carroll University, she spent the majority of her time in the campus’s radio station. Madi is a meteorologist for Severe Weather Center 9 who joined the team in January 2023.įrom a young age Madi realized she had three passions science, nature, and music.
